Caleb Barker is the Associate General Counsel at Bittrex, Inc., a cryptocurrency exchange.  Bittrex’s mission is to help advance the blockchain industry by fostering innovation, incubating new and emerging technology, and driving transformative change.

Prior to joining Bittrex, Caleb was a white collar and government investigations associate in the Washington, DC office of Squire Patton Boggs.  He represented clients, primarily international financial institutions, in internal and governmental investigations relating to alleged sanctions, BSA/AML, CFPA, and FCPA violations across multiple domestic and international jurisdictions.  In addition, he conducted sanctions and AML compliance consulting, remediation, and training for companies based in the United States and abroad.

Previously, Caleb served as an associate in the corporate group of Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix, Arizona.  He represented both buyers and sellers in complex mergers and acquisitions, advised public companies on SEC and other corporate filings, and helped companies raise capital.

Caleb earned his bachelor’s degree in public policy and psychology from Duke University and his JD from Harvard Law School.  He lives with his wife in Washington, DC.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after May 18, but substitutions will be allowed.

"Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors" is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
