Jack has over 30 years of experience in bankruptcy restructuring and financial distress-related matters,  representing debtors, official committees, and other stakeholders in chapter 11, 15, and 9 cases.  He has provided consultation and expert witness services in the areas of business restructuring, claims estimation and feasibility issues (products liability, asbestos, and environmental), public finance, fiduciary duties and governance issues, related-party transactions, intercompany transfers, international asset concealments, fraudulent transfers, remedies, forensic accounting and fraud investigations, commercial and intellectual property (IP) damages modeling, and bankruptcy and insolvency taxation (federal, state, and local).

He has served in a fiduciary role (examiner, trustee, or receiver) or as a consultant and testifying expert witness in numerous national and international bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings and national and international commercial disputes. 

Jack is a tenured professor at Georgia State University College of Law and the Middle East Studies Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where he teaches and conducts research in the areas of business reorganizations, forensic accounting and financial investigations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, taxation, remedies, and law and statistics.

He is presently the Resident Scholar of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) and served two terms as the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Resident Scholar.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after May 18, but substitutions will be allowed.

"Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors" is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
