Neal Ganguli is the Automotive & Industrial Business Transformation Leader, specializing in leading strategy development and execution efforts with C-level management teams to enhance company performance and profitability. Mr. Ganguli is a seasoned business executive and leader with a 25-plus year track record. He has a background of private equity operations and management consulting and strong performance improvement and restructuring experience, leadership skills and the ability to work with management teams to influence change and implement top priority initiatives.

Mr. Ganguli’s experience includes executing large strategic and operational profitability and performance improvement programs at global industrial and automotive clients. He has led efforts across the business value chain including product/market growth strategies, manufacturing plant footprint optimization, operational restructuring and cost reduction, supply chain efficiency, strategic sourcing and material cost reduction, SG&A and organizational restructuring and so on. He has led business transformation and profitability improvement transformational efforts with multiple private equity funds, global auto suppliers and auto OEMs, as well as industrial manufacturers. Mr. Ganguli has helped multiple clients execute sourcing efforts in direct material categories spanning from metals, to components to resin/plastic-based categories, forgings, castings, aluminum die castings as well as mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies and systems

Mr. Ganguli also brings expertise across the M&A lifecycle, including leading strategic/operational due diligence, integration planning and synergy capture/value creation post-merger integration/carve-outs. Over the course of his career, he has led numerous operational diligence efforts for private equity, as well as strategic acquirers, led Day 1/synergy planning efforts as well as post-Day 1 value creation efforts.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Ganguli was part Deloitte Consulting’s US Automotive practice and Leader of the Auto Supplier consulting segment. Prior to that, he worked with several private equity funds independently, as well as at McKinsey and AlixPartners.

Mr. Ganguli holds a Bachelor of Technology Electronics And Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur and an M.B.A from the Ross Business School at the University of Michigan.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after May 18, but substitutions will be allowed.
