As Senior Vice President and Counsel, Kelli Walsh is responsible for negotiating and administering lease and financing transactions with commercial airlines, including operating leases, acquisitions, sales and restructurings on behalf of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). GECAS, the U.S. and Irish commercial aircraft financing and leasing business of General Electric Company (GE), has a fleet of approximately 1,600 owned and managed commercial aircraft and helicopters with over 200 customers in more than 70 countries. Kelli also manages global bankruptcy and litigation across the company’s portfolio of assets.
Prior to joining GECAS, Kelli spent ten years as Executive Counsel at GE Capital, where she provided restructuring and litigation support for the company’s financial services businesses, including aviation, energy and real estate. Kelli began her legal career in the Business Finance & Restructuring department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Kelli received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School.
