Robert Dempsey

Polsinelli

Robert Dempsey is a deal lawyer who focuses on buying and selling healthcare and senior living companies including companies that may be struggling or in distress. He is also an editor of the Polsinelli/TrBK Distress Indices which tracks and reports on US bankruptcy filings. His particular understanding of the healthcare industry allows him to offer advice in connection with restructuring alternatives and to assist clients in developing feasible strategies to address the complexities of the healthcare industry and its regulatory landscape.

Recent engagements include:

  •  Representing a private-equity-funded buyer in the $80+ million purchase of four senior living campuses through a 363 sale proceeding, involving the transfer of more than 800 beds
  •  Leading the successful refinancing and restructuring of 3 tranches of $175 million in debt for a private-equity-backed senior living company on the West Coast, including a $100 million senior secured loan, a $40 million private placement, and the contingent purchase of $35 million in junior mezzanine debt

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Monday, May 13, 2019 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be given after May 13, 2019; substitutions are allowed.
