Is your staff prepared for the evolving increase in business distress?AIRA is offering an eight-hour on-line training session in two four-hour blocks on Friday, February 26 and Monday, March 1, from 12:00 - 4:00pm Eastern for financial professionals who may not be on a CIRA or CDBV track and are looking for a better understanding and overview of the distressed business and chapter 11 environment. This course provides an introduction to understanding restructurings in bankruptcy, some of the alternatives that may be available, and provides insight into the unique aspects of the business process and operating as a professional in such cases. Topics covered include: the nature of the chapter 11 process; Chapter 11 filing and the debtor in possession; operating the business in chapter 11, and discussion of the unique aspects of being retained in bankruptcy cases, reporting time, and obtain payment for services. |
