Andrew Beshay joined Macerich’s Asset Management group as Head of Credit & Restructuring in October 2023. He is responsible for reviewing and approving all tenant financials for the purpose of determining their credit on new deals and renewals. Andrew is also responsible for negotiating material termination buyouts, opining on rent reductions, and overseeing all tenant bankruptcies. Prior to joining Macerich, Andrew worked in the Asset Management department of PennyMac, focusing on portfolio strategy. He also has experience working at Big 4 firm, Ernst & Young, specializing in business valuation and the dispute and litigation team at FTI Consulting. Andrew was Co-Chair of the Express Unsecured Creditors Committee and has managed over seventeen retail bankruptcies at Macerich.
