Professor

James E. Moliterno is the Vincent Bradford Professor of Law at Washington & Lee University School of Law. His teaching and scholarship focus on lawyer and judicial ethics and conduct. He joined the Washington and Lee Law Faculty in 2009. For 21 years prior to joining the W&L faculty, he was the Tazewell Taylor Professor of Law, Director of the Legal Skills Program, and Director of Clinical Programs, and from 1997-2000 Vice Dean at the College of William & Mary. He was the 2012 recipient of the Rebuilding Justice Award from the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS) in recognition of his career-long legal education reform work and the 2017 recipient of the Virginia State Bar Leadership in Education Award.

He is author or co-author of ten books including THE AMERICAN LEGAL PROFESSION IN CRISIS: RESISTANCE AND RESPONSES TO CHANGE (Oxford Univ. Press 2013) and of numerous articles on legal ethics and legal education. His books have been translated into Chinese, Georgian, Czech, and Slovak languages.

He has engaged in substantial international legal ethics and legal education teaching and reform work in Serbia, Armenia, Georgia, Czech Republic, Kosovo, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Japan, China, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 for a full refund less a $150 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after May 17, 2023, but substitutions will be allowed.

National Registry of CPE Sponsors

"Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors" is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
