Fengrong Li, CIRA, CFA is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, Inc. based in McLean Virginia. She has over 20 years’ experience in energy and infrastructure, holding senior positions at global companies. She specializes in sustainability, market advisory, strategy, utility resource planning, investment analysis, bankruptcy, restructuring and asset valuation across the energy value chain. Ms. Li’s work addresses grid challenges, deep decarbonization, increasing demand and resources variability, and the need to enhance reliability and resiliency. She advises clients on strategies and concrete portfolio positions to achieve 247 clean power and carbon-neutral goals.

Ms. Li is an energy market expert with extensive experience encompassing a wide range of projects, such as upstream assets, LNG terminals, pipelines, carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS), wholesale power markets, nuclear, renewables, utility-scale storage, and microgrids. She has advised many infrastructure funds, financial institutions, utilities, independent power producers, oil and gas majors, technology companies, and asset developers on resource economics, market fundamentals, business planning, tax credit flip structures, asset optimization, and capital market transactions.

Prior to joining FTI, Ms. Li was a director at the Digital Grid Energy Business Advisory Division at Siemens, where she led teams on complex energy market advisory engagements with large utilities and investors. Prior to Siemens, she was chief of the Merchandise Division at Mitsui Co., Ltd., where she successfully developed a long-term commodity business between Asia, Europe, and America.

Ms. Li is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). She graduated cum laude with an MBA in finance and investment from University of Notre Dame with the Provost Award.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 for a full refund less a $150 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after May 17, 2023, but substitutions will be allowed.
