Managing Director

Jeffrey Manning is a Managing Director of CohnReznick Capital based in the Baltimore office. He has more than 35 years of experience across the corporate recovery marketplace with activities in investment banking, loan workout, operating restructuring, value investing, bankruptcy advising, and loan trading. The 2013 annual Turnaround Atlas Awards global program recognized Jeff as one of the top 100 restructuring and turnaround professionals.

Prior to joining CohnReznick Capital, Jeff was a managing director at BDO Capital Advisors. He served previously as the Chief Executive Officer of FTI’s wholly-owned investment banking subsidiary. He also led the special situations practice at various Wall Street firms, including Legg Mason Wood Walker and Rodman & Renshaw. Prior to that, Jeff worked for S.N. Phelps & Co., a well-known Greenwich, CT based “vulture investor.” Early in his career, he focused on restructuring for Dun & Bradstreet and worked in the “special loans” group at Manufacturers Hanover Trust.

Jeff is a frequent speaker at industry and university events at Columbia, Wharton, Johns Hopkins, UVA, and other prestigious institutions. He authored a chapter for the Thomson Reuters / Aspatore book Inside the Minds: Avoiding Financial Trouble, and Thoughts on the Future; “Saving Technology and Service Companies from Chapter 11.”

Jeff earned an MBA from Columbia University and a B.A. from Yale University.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Monday, May 13, 2019 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be given after May 13, 2019; substitutions are allowed.
